Breathe Out
Some days are hard. Some days are just, draining and tiring and the world feels heavy. Some days you just don’t smile because all you really want is a nap. Some days all you need is to be dreaming of something lovely, and to not be near people. Some days all you need is to come home and curl up on the couch, and wake up when everything is okay.
When your eyes are heavy and you can’t think clearly, when you’ve been over-thinking for too long, do it. Breathe out. Sigh. A big, long sigh. Just, come home and lie on the floor and breathe out.
Take a break from people, listen to a calm song that will make you smile while you fall asleep. Or take a moment and listen to someone singing all of your frustrations out. Eat chocolate, drink tea. Take a long bath, stop speaking aloud. Wait til all your thoughts run out and everything is quiet. Become yourself again.
Don’t push yourself. Don’t. It’s never worth it to stress. I promise. Take a moment, take an evening, take a day. You are the most important thing, you are precious, and you need to breathe out.
